In late May 2026, the Department of Construction, alongside relevant units, officially handed over the comprehensive project tracking system integrated into the Dong Nai IOC. The system was fully sponsored by Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1) and developed by XBoss Technology Solutions Co., Ltd.

Mr. Nao Thien Anh Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, stated that under current structural contexts, enhancing management and oversight efficiency while fast-tracking public investment and broader construction projects is highly imperative. Therefore, operating this project-tracking system within the IOC framework holds substantial potential for scaled deployment, particularly in a jurisdiction managing a massive volume of key national and regional projects like Dong Nai.

Once fully operational, the system will provide an integrated visual dashboard, empowering city leaders to comprehensively track project progression, capital disbursement rates, and instantly spot emerging operational bottlenecks. Consequently, executive directions and interventions will be delivered with superior velocity, accuracy, and efficiency.

"This is a vital milestone in gradually shaping a digitalized data ecosystem for smart governance, working toward an ultra-modern and highly efficient public administration," Mr. Nao Thien Anh Minh emphasized.

Mr. Pham Van Trinh, Member of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Department of Science and Technology, disclosed that in the coming period, Dong Nai will officially promulgate its Smart City Master Scheme. Concurrently, the city will deploy core smart city components, including the Municipal Intelligent Operation Center, expanding and connecting IOC systems across all 95 communes and wards, and piloting smart commune models in specific localities. Furthermore, the city plans to scale up its intelligent traffic control networks, perfect the Geographic Information System (GIS) integrated with Building Information Modeling (BIM), and ultimately march toward creating digital twins for advanced smart urban governance.

Speaking at the Seminar on Digital Transformation Orientations for Smart Urban Governance in Dong Nai in early May 2026, Mr. Le Truong Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People's Committee, emphasized that state organs from the municipal down to the ward and commune levels must fundamentally shift their management mindsets. Information systems and digital platforms must rigidly comply with data interoperability and connection principles, while ensuring absolute information security, decisively terminating fragmented and isolated technology investments.
