(VTC News) - Following the handover of land sites, contractors have increased shifts and teams to accelerate the progress of Provincial Road 25C—a key traffic artery connecting to Long Thanh Airport (Dong Nai).

Right after receiving the land handover, contractors simultaneously deployed multiple construction fronts on the Provincial Road 25C project, specifically the section from National Highway 51 to District Road 19. Units have reinforced manpower and machinery, organizing overtime shifts and additional teams to take advantage of favorable weather conditions to drive the project's progress forward.

Along with routes T1 and T2, the HCMC - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, and HCMC Ring Road 3, Provincial Road 25C is identified as one of the critical traffic axes connecting Long Thanh Airport with the Nhon Trach area and Ho Chi Minh City.

The Provincial Road 25C project section from National Highway 51 to District Road 19 spans a length of approximately 2.65 km, planned with a complete cross-section width of 100 meters and a design speed of 80 km/h. The route's starting point intersects with District Road 19 (Phuoc An Commune), while its ending point connects with National Highway 51 (Long Phuoc Commune), alongside the construction of Ba Ky Bridge on the main line.

As recorded by reporters from VTC News Electronic Newspaper, urgent construction activities are taking place across the entire route. At the intersection of Provincial Road 25C with National Highway 51 and Route T1, major items have basically been completed, and the road surface has been asphalted.

Meanwhile, a stretch of about 1.5 km from National Highway 51 to District Road 12 has completed aggregate sub-base formatting and is currently awaiting asphalt paving.

In the section near District Road 19, construction units are focusing on processing the roadbed and deploying bored pile drilling to prepare for upcoming items.

Regarding Ba Ky Bridge, the project is undergoing construction on its foundations and piers. On the construction site, workers alongside numerous motorized equipment are continuously deploying the installation of culvert systems, technical pipelines, and related infrastructure items.

Along the entire route, multiple construction fronts are arranged simultaneously. Leveling and roadbed compaction vehicles operate continuously to ensure adherence to the planned schedule.

According to records at the site, to date, the roadbed and pavement construction has completed over 70% of the volume, while the overall project has achieved over 45% of the total contract value. In Phase 1, the project is invested with a cross-section scale of 45 meters, with a total investment capital of over VND 647 billion.

Provincial Road 25C is a key traffic project of the province, serving as the main connection axis from the Nhon Trach area and industrial parks to Long Thanh Airport and Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon completion, the route is highly expected to contribute to enhancing infrastructure connectivity, creating momentum for socio-economic development, and serving the operations of Long Thanh Airport in the coming period.
