Dong Nai is entering a new stage of development with its position as a centrally governed city. |
For the business community in Dong Nai, this new status opens up further development opportunities while also requiring stronger innovation to adapt to the higher standards of a centrally governed urban area. For C.P. Vietnam Corporation in particular, more than 30 years of investment and the establishment of its headquarters in the locality have provided a strong foundation for the company to accompany Dong Nai on its path toward prosperous and sustainable development.
Confidence built on long-term commitment
Pawalit Ua-Amornwanit, General Director of C.P. Vietnam, said that more than 30 years ago, when the company first began investing in Vietnam, it chose Dong Nai as the place to lay its initial foundations.

Starting from animal feed production, C.P. Vietnam gradually expanded into farming before developing its processed food segment. The company now operates under an integrated Feed - Farm - Food model, controlling the value chain from input to output. This provides a foundation for C.P. Vietnam to ensure product quality and stability while pursuing sustainable development.
According to Pawalit Ua-Amornwanit, after many years of close attachment to the locality, C.P. Vietnam has witnessed Dong Nai’s positive, continuous and sustainable development. Dong Nai’s transition into a centrally governed city affirms its role as one of the country’s dynamic economic hubs, with strong appeal to both domestic and foreign investors.
From the perspective of an FDI enterprise, C.P. Vietnam’s representative said that when choosing an investment location in Vietnam, investors often pay close attention to scale, infrastructure, connectivity and the investment environment. Therefore, Dong Nai’s new status is expected to enhance its visibility and attract greater interest from the international business community.

In addition, the expansion of development space following the merger creates more room for Dong Nai to reorganize resources and develop transport and logistics infrastructure. This is an important factor that will help businesses optimize operating costs, expand production and participate more deeply in value chains.
Innovation to meet new development requirements
Becoming a centrally governed city means higher requirements in terms of industry, the environment, quality of life and social welfare. For C.P. Vietnam, this serves as a driving force for the company to continue transforming itself, strengthen technology application, develop green production and move toward a circular economy model.

Many C.P. Vietnam products have met the requirements of high-standard markets such as Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. Among them, the CPV Food export poultry farming and processing complex is an example of a closed, integrated production process controlled in line with international standards.
Alongside its production activities, C.P. Vietnam has also contributed to job creation, stable livelihoods for local workers and the development of a high-tech agricultural ecosystem.
Looking ahead to new opportunities, Pawalit Ua-Amornwanit said that when launching new projects or expanding operations, C.P. Vietnam will continue to prioritize investment in Dong Nai. The company is oriented toward food production that meets consumer demand, while strengthening the application of modern technologies and contributing to the locality’s overall development.

Vietnam to continue investing and expanding its development space in a sustainable direction, contributing to the shared prosperity of a modern and dynamic urban center in the future,” said Pawalit Ua-Amornwanit.
A journey of more than 30 years has provided the foundation for C.P. Vietnam’s confidence in Dong Nai. The locality’s new position today is also a driving force for the company to keep innovating, accompany the province responsibly, and contribute to a greener, more modern and more sustainable development path for Dong Nai City.
