According to the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, the project owner, the DT.769 Road Upgrade and Expansion Project will cover a total length of 29.75 kilometers, with a construction investment of nearly VND 2.8 trillion. The route connects Dau Giay Intersection with National Highway 51 and will be upgraded and expanded to accommodate six to eight traffic lanes. The road passes through Dau Giay, Binh An, and Long Thanh wards and communes, serving as a vital transportation corridor for the movement of goods between the northern provinces, the Central Highlands, and the Long Thanh–Nhon Trach area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ho Van Ha, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai City People's Committee, emphasized that the project plays a significant role in realizing Dong Nai's vision of becoming a new growth engine for the Southeast Region as well as a national hub for industry, logistics, and aviation services.

He also noted that, in addition to the DT.769 project, Dong Nai City simultaneously broke ground on two other key transportation projects on July 10: the construction of DT.770B Road and the upgrade and expansion of DT.773 Road. The coordinated development of these routes represents a strategic solution for creating the western gateway transportation corridor to Long Thanh International Airport, providing direct connections to National Highways 1 and 51, expressways, and the regional transportation network. Once completed, these projects will help reduce traffic congestion on existing roads while facilitating the transportation of passengers and goods to and from Long Thanh International Airport.

They also urged relevant authorities to proactively resolve any issues arising during construction.
