Notably, with the momentum from Long Thanh International Airport, the locality is well-positioned to develop large-scale trade-logistics corridors, promoting regional linkages and enhancing competitiveness.

Experts believe that the large land fund and strategic location are favorable conditions for Dong Nai to restructure its development space toward a modern and sustainable direction.

Dr. Sc. Architect Ngo Viet Nam Son remarked that with a vast land fund distributed relatively contiguously, combined with special geographical advantages, Dong Nai possesses the conditions to develop modern urban areas, establish large-scale industrial-service centers, and expand sustainable development space in the future.

According to local leaders, in the context of transitioning growth models, the effective management, allocation, and exploitation of land resources are decisive factors for the city's development potential.

Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai City Party Committee Vo Tan Duc stated that land is a particularly important resource, associated with all socio-economic activities and serving as the foundation for the development of agriculture, industry, and urban areas, as well as ecosystem protection. Therefore, it is necessary to review and handle delayed projects and abandoned land plots, while managing land in a modern and transparent manner based on digital data to limit speculation, loss, and waste of resources.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Dong Nai City People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut emphasized the requirement to strictly implement approved master plans; simultaneously, it is crucial to increase openness and transparency in the stages of land allocation, leasing, and land-use purpose conversion to unlock resources for sustainable development.

Currently, Dong Nai is orienting its land allocation and use toward two main growth drivers. First is sustainable industrial development, prioritizing the attraction of strategic, high-tech, green, and supporting industry investors. Second is service development, with the core being a general service urban area linked to Long Thành Airport, forming a large-scale aviation-logistics-commerce-tourism ecosystem.

Regarding agriculture, the locality prioritizes modern production models, high-tech applications, organic farming, and the circular economy. Meanwhile, non-agricultural land funds will be prioritized for the development of transportation infrastructure, energy, logistics, digital infrastructure, and sustainable urban areas.

With significant potential from its land fund and a long-term planning vision, Dong Nai is step-by-step turning its resource advantages into development momentum, aiming to become a leading dynamic growth pole in the country in the new era.
