On May 14, 2025, the Center of Enterprise Cooperation & Alumni, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering of Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU), organized a field trip and practical learning program at Tri An Hydropower Plant for engineering students.

The activity aimed to provide students with the opportunity to experience a real working environment in the electric power generation sector, while also strengthening the connection between the University’s training programs and the practical needs of enterprises.

 

Practical Experience at One of the Largest Hydropower Plants in the Region

Within the framework of the program, students had the opportunity to directly visit the operational system and power generation processes at Tri An Hydropower Plant, learning about its operational model as well as the technologies applied in harnessing and converting water resources into electrical energy.

In addition, students had the chance to interact and exchange ideas with engineers and technical experts currently working at the plant, helping them gain a deeper understanding of:

• The operation process of the power generation system

• Technical safety standards in the electricity sector

• Technologies and equipment used in power production activities

• Professional knowledge and skill requirements for engineers in the electrical and energy fields

Practical insights shared by industry professionals helped students connect theoretical knowledge with real-world production practices, while also broadening their perspectives on the working environment in the engineering sector.

Practice-Oriented Education – Enhancing Students’ Professional Competence

Enterprise visit programs are among the regular activities organized by Dong Nai Technology University to strengthen practical experiences for students while they are still studying at the University.

Through this activity, students not only reinforce their specialized knowledge but also gain clearer orientation for their future careers, improving their ability to adapt to real working environments after graduation.

At the same time, the program contributes to strengthening the cooperative relationship between the University and enterprises, aiming to develop high-quality technical human resources that meet the demands of the labor market.

The visit concluded successfully, bringing valuable practical experiences and meaningful learning opportunities to the participating students.
