Opportunities for FDI Investors
Dong Nai City currently has nearly 90 industrial parks (IPs) planned for development, covering a total area of more than 43,000 hectares. In particular, the northern area of the city still has significant development potential and is being actively promoted by city leaders to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) through favorable incentives and support policies.

In addition to investment incentives, administrative support, and favorable investment policies, the city has also directed relevant agencies to accelerate transport infrastructure projects connecting the northern and southern parts of Dong Nai City, as well as the seaport system and Long Thanh International Airport. These projects aim to help businesses in the northern industrial parks reduce transportation time for goods and improve production and business operations.
Developing Industrial Park Infrastructure
According to the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones, by the end of June 2026, Dong Nai City had completed the planning and adjustment of industrial land demand through 2030 for all planned industrial parks across the city.
Currently, 44 industrial parks are in operation and continue to be updated according to current planning, covering more than 15,000 hectares. These industrial parks have largely completed their technical and social infrastructure systems and have attracted numerous stable secondary investment projects, playing a key role in industrial development, job creation, and local budget revenue. In addition, 45 industrial parks with a total area of more than 28,000 hectares are planned for development during the 2021–2030 period.
In the northern area of Dong Nai City, besides fully occupied industrial parks such as Chon Thanh I Industrial Park (Chon Thanh Ward), Minh Hung – Korea Industrial Park (Minh Hung Ward), and Dong Xoai II Industrial Park (Dong Xoai Ward), industrial parks including Becamex – Binh Phuoc, Minh Hung – Sikico, and Dong Xoai I are currently attracting investment and can accommodate investors requiring large-scale land areas.
At the same time, the city is promoting procedures to expand industrial park areas for projects including Phuoc Binh 2 Industrial Park, Tan Khai II Industrial Park, Bac Dong Phu Phase II Industrial Park, Nam Dong Phu Phase II Industrial Park, and industrial parks within the Hoa Lu Border Gate Economic Zone.
These developments demonstrate the significant potential and investment opportunities available in the northern industrial parks of Dong Nai City for both domestic and international investors, especially large corporations and enterprises requiring extensive industrial land. To proactively attract investors, during the first six months of 2026, city leaders directed departments, agencies, and industrial park infrastructure developers to conduct investment promotion activities in various countries and territories.
An Ideal Investment Environment
With the advantage of large, contiguous, and ready-to-use industrial land, the northern industrial parks of Dong Nai City are considered highly suitable for new investment projects, particularly large-scale manufacturing and supporting industries.

During a meeting between Dong Nai leaders and a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with heads of Vietnam's overseas representative offices in April 2026, Mr. Huynh Thanh Chung, General Director of Hai Vuong Manufacturing, Construction, Trading and Agriculture Joint Stock Company, stated that Dong Nai still has considerable room for development, with industrial parks and transport infrastructure that have been systematically planned and invested in to attract investors.
Hai Vuong is currently the infrastructure developer of Minh Hung – Sikico Industrial Park in Tan Khai Ward. Covering 655 hectares and already more than 60% occupied by projects from countries such as China and South Korea, the industrial park continues to attract FDI projects. The company hopes to strengthen connections with foreign representative offices, embassies, and trade counselors to enhance investment promotion efforts. Hai Vuong also seeks access to information on business characteristics and communication channels in various countries and territories to develop more effective investment attraction strategies.
Speaking at meetings with ambassadors, consuls general, and businesses exploring investment opportunities in Dong Nai, Mr. Nguyen Kim Long, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai City People's Committee, expressed his hope that enterprises already operating in the city would continue expanding and increasing their investment capital. He also encouraged businesses to adopt advanced technologies in production.
For prospective investors, city leaders encourage investment in high technology, semiconductor technology, and environmentally friendly projects within the city's industrial parks.
In particular, Dong Nai offers a range of preferential policies for enterprises investing in industrial parks located in the northern part of the city. Although these industrial parks are not as close to airports and seaports, they offer advantages such as lower land rental costs and favorable conditions for agricultural material supply and agricultural product processing.
The city government is committed to supporting investors throughout every stage of the investment process, from site selection to project implementation and administrative procedures.
According to city statistics, during the first six months of 2026, Dong Nai attracted nearly USD 1.5 billion in FDI, including both newly licensed projects and additional investment capital, maintaining its position among the leading localities nationwide in FDI attraction.
These results demonstrate that Dong Nai City's investment environment continues to attract strong interest from foreign investors, particularly in manufacturing and processing industries, supporting industries, and logistics.
