(ĐN) - On the afternoon of June 11, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance held their weekly retail petrol and oil price adjustment cycle. Prices for many types of petrol and oil continued to decrease during this retail adjustment period.

During this executive period, the Ministries applied a formulation rate for the Petrol and Oil Price Stabilization Fund (advancements sourced from the state budget) of 100 VND/liter for biofuel, 200 VND/liter for diesel oil, and 300 VND/kg for mazut oil. Concurrently, no expenditures were made from the Petrol and Oil Price Stabilization Fund during this executive period.

Accordingly, after implementing the formulation and expenditure of the Petrol and Oil Price Stabilization Fund, the maximum retail prices for common consumer petrol and oil products on the market simultaneously decreased starting from 15:00 on June 11. Specifically, E5 RON 92 petrol decreased by 452 VND/liter, down to 21,332 VND/liter; diesel oil decreased by 989 VND/liter, down to 25,877 VND/liter; mazut oil decreased by 1,037 VND/kg, reaching a maximum retail price of 18,608 VND/kg.

During today's executive period, the Ministries have not yet announced the base price for E10 petrol. According to the prices announced by focal enterprises, the price of E10 RON 95-III petrol decreased by 270 VND, down to 22,060 VND/liter.

From the end of February 2026 until now, domestic petrol and oil prices have undergone 25 adjustment periods. Among them, E5 RON 92 petrol increased 11 times, decreased 12 times, and remained unchanged 2 times; diesel oil increased 10 times, decreased 13 times, and remained unchanged for 2 periods.
