(DN) – On August 20, SSTC, KNIC, and Vietcombank Bien Hoa Branch jointly organized the conference “Dong Nai – Southern Industrial, Logistics and Strategic Investment Center.”

In his opening remarks, Deputy Head in charge of the Management Board of Industrial and Economic Zones of Dong Nai City Pham Viet Phuong said that the city is moving toward building more complete, green, and smart industrial ecosystems to anticipate new global investment trends. Authorities, infrastructure investors, and secondary investors will work together as development partners, thereby contributing to building Dong Nai’s industrial value chain.

At the conference, experts and businesses shared and discussed policies, infrastructure, finance, logistics, and human resources, as well as their impacts on the ability to implement and expand projects in Dong Nai. Within the southern industrial landscape, Dong Nai's attractiveness is becoming increasingly evident as the city possesses many conditions to become an important destination for high-tech investment capital, with strong connectivity in infrastructure, supply chains, human resources, financial services, and project implementation.

Long Thanh International Airport, together with a network of expressways, seaports, and key transport corridors, is gradually forming a multimodal connectivity network, facilitating production, logistics, and trade activities. At the same time, the locality’s investment attraction strategy is increasingly focused on high-tech, innovation, green manufacturing, and projects capable of creating long-term added value.

At the conference, representatives of KNIC (a new-generation industrial city), the investor of two major industrial parks: KNIC Nam Long Thanh (Bau Can - Tan Hiep, 1,000 hectares) and KNIC East Long Thanh (Xuan Que - Song Nhan, 1,000 hectares), shared their vision for developing modern and sustainable production spaces suitable for high-tech industries and those with high added value. KNIC projects are envisioned as links within the emerging manufacturing-logistics ecosystem around Long Thanh International Airport, providing additional options for businesses seeking investment locations with deep connectivity to regional and international supply chains.

On this occasion, KNIC and SSTC; KNIC and Dong Nai Technology University; SSTC and CITARE Training and Research Center; and SSTC and Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam – Bien Hoa Branch signed cooperation agreements. The agreements aim to strengthen the connection between training and actual business needs, expand internship and employment opportunities, and gradually prepare a workforce suitable for high-tech manufacturing industries.
