Responding to the 500-Day Special Emulation Campaign: "Solidarity - Discipline - Efficiency - Breakthrough, Building a Civilized and Modern Dong Nai," and continuing to maintain and improve execution quality toward 2030 launched by the Executive Committee of the Dong Nai City Party Committee, Trade Unions at all levels and enterprises across the city have deployed deep and wide campaigns. These efforts have contributed to sparking a spirit of creativity, responsibility, and the will to rise among the workforce of industrial workers.

Emulating to Increase Labor Productivity

Arriving at Tokin Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Long Binh Industrial Park, Long Binh Ward), the atmosphere of labor emulation has become urgent and bustling across every production line. Thanks to a stable stream of orders, guaranteed jobs, and secure incomes, workers are motivated to stay committed and produce enthusiastically. To boost production targets among workers, the Trade Union has coordinated with the enterprise to launch emulation movements tied to specific criteria regarding productivity, quality, labor safety, and technical improvement initiatives.

Mr. Phan Toi Tho Hiep, Chairman of the Trade Union at Tokin Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd., stated: To awaken the spirit of production labor emulation, the Trade Union has collaborated with the enterprise to deploy many practical activities. Prominent among these are the "High Productivity - Good Work" emulation movement and the program to promote initiatives and technical improvements among all workers. The company encourages workers to boldly contribute ideas through multiple intake channels, ranging from periodic dialogues to online feedback systems.

"From the beginning of the year until now, the enterprise has received more than 400 opinions and initiatives from workers. These ideas are being classified and evaluated to select improvements for implementation between now and the end of the year. Listening to and promptly resolving workers' recommendations not only contributes to improving the working environment but also motivates employees to actively accompany the enterprise in enhancing productivity and production efficiency," Mr. Hiep shared.

At Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd. (Nhon Trach 5 Industrial Park, Nhon Trach Ward), the workforce actively participates in emulation movements to improve production efficiency. Many technical improvement initiatives and solutions proposed by workers have been applied to reality by the enterprise, contributing to shortening production time, saving raw materials, and enhancing product quality as well as production and business efficiency. To create motivation for workers, the Trade Union actively cares for their lives and organizes sports activities for them to practice and ensure good health for work.

Ms. Le Thi Hoa, Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union at Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd., said: The production labor emulation movements launched by the Trade Union in coordination with the enterprise have created a positive pervasive effect among all workers. Through specific emulation criteria, each worker gains additional motivation to promote a spirit of responsibility, proactively learn, improve skills, and constantly innovate during the work process to meet the increasingly high requirements of the enterprise.

Promoting the Spirit of Creativity

Deputy Chairwoman of the City Labor Federation, Bùi Thị Bích Thủy, stated: Over the past years, emulation movements launched by the Trade Union have been actively embraced by a large number of workers in industrial parks across the city. In the 500-day special emulation campaign and the "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" emulation movement launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the workforce has responded powerfully, emulating work at production workshops. Through these movements, workers improve their skills and become more proactive and creative in their work to master modern technology.

"In the coming period, emulation movements launched by the Trade Union will continue to be innovated in both content and form, tied to digital transformation, the application of science-technology, and high-quality human resource development. Concurrently, dialogue between enterprises and workers will be strengthened to build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations, creating a driving force for each worker to constantly improve their qualifications, skills, and sense of responsibility at work."

A prominent feature of the emulation movement is the proactive participation of the workers. Many workers not only successfully complete their assigned tasks but also actively research and propose solutions to improve production processes, reduce operational time, save raw materials, and enhance work performance. Multiple initiatives have brought hundreds of millions or even billions of VND in profit value annually to enterprises. Particularly, when applied to reality, these improvements have helped enterprises save costs, improve product quality, and increase market competitiveness.

To encourage workers, grassroots Trade Unions and company leaders maintain a mechanism for timely commendation and rewarding of collectives and individuals with numerous initiatives and solutions that bring practical efficiency or outstanding contributions to production and business activities. This creates a pervasive effect, encouraging workers to continue promoting their creative spirit and eagerly emulating, thereby contributing to enhancing the competitive capacity and sustainable development of the enterprise.

Mr. Dinh Sy Phuc, Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union at TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, stated: Workers must be creative to increase labor productivity and income. Therefore, the emulation movement has brought many positive results for both workers and enterprises in developing and maintaining sustainable employment. This is also one of the vital solutions helping enterprises enhance competitive capacity, meeting the increasingly high demands of customers and the market in the context of integration.

In parallel with launching emulation movements, Dong Nai Trade Unions at all levels also place importance on caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers. They coordinate with enterprises to organize training and fostering to improve skills and occupational expertise, and build a safe, professional working environment. These are crucial factors that help workers feel secure in committing long-term, maximizing their capabilities, and contributing actively to the development of enterprises and the locality.

With the tradition of diligence, creativity, and solidarity of the workforce, alongside the companionship of the Trade Union organization and the business community, the production emulation movement in Dong Nai is expected to continue developing robustly.
