During the first six months of 2026, 16 new cooperatives (co-ops) were established across the city. Of these, five cooperatives joined the Dong Nai City Cooperative Alliance, bringing the total number of active member cooperatives to 335. As of June 30, 2026, the city had more than 1,000 cooperative groups, operating primarily in agriculture, forestry, and livestock farming.

A key highlight during the period was the successful organization of the First Congress of Delegates of the Dong Nai City Cooperative Alliance for the 2026–2030 term, laying the foundation for the management and development of the cooperative system and the collective economy in the years ahead.

In addition, the Dong Nai City Cooperative Alliance continued to expand its advisory, support, and service activities for cooperatives and the collective economy. More than VND 45 billion was disbursed to two legal entities and 29 individual members of cooperatives, achieving 56.4% of the 2026 annual disbursement target and increasing the outstanding loan balance to more than VND 185.5 billion. The Alliance also organized training courses on "Accounting Advisory Skills for Cooperatives", along with workshops on the 2025 tax finalization process and updates to the Law on Value-Added Tax and the Law on Corporate Income Tax, providing cooperatives with the latest regulatory information.

In the second half of 2026, the Dong Nai City Cooperative Alliance will strengthen coordination with relevant organizations to further support the development of the collective economy and cooperatives. Planned initiatives include working with Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio & Television to promote the city's collective economy development strategy for the 2026–2030 period, as well as collaborating with the Dong Nai City Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Dong Nai City Business Federation to build a collaborative ecosystem linking cooperatives with businesses.

During the meeting, delegates also discussed the action program for implementing the Resolution of the First Congress of Delegates of the Dong Nai City Cooperative Alliance, along with the development of operating regulations and working programs for its affiliated agencies and units.
