(DN) – Dong Nai Water Supply Joint Stock Company (Dowaco) has announced a temporary suspension of water supply in multiple wards and communes across the city on August 2.

According to the announcement, the water supply will be suspended from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on August 2 (Sunday). The suspension is necessary to carry out periodic inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of electrical equipment at the water treatment plants.

The affected areas include government agencies, businesses, industrial parks, and water users in several wards and communes. Specifically, in the Trang Dai area, the affected locations include: the former Trang Dai Ward, Thien Tan Industrial Cluster, Dong Tay Tay Nguyen Co., Ltd., and Ong Huong Hamlet in the former Thien Tan Commune.

The following wards will also be affected: Tran Bien, Tam Hiep, Phuoc Tan, Long Hung, Tam Phuoc, and Long Thanh.

In addition, certain areas in Tan Trieu, Ho Nai, and Long Binh Wards may be affected depending on their water supply source from Thien Tan Water Treatment Plant, Nhon Trach Water Treatment Plant, and the booster pumping stations.

The temporary water supply suspension will also affect some areas in Trang Bom Ward, Binh Minh Commune, Hung Thinh Commune, Tan An Commune, An Phuoc Commune, and Binh An Commune, as well as certain water supply lines and meters serving industrial parks and nearby areas.

Dowaco advises residents, government agencies, businesses, and other water users to proactively store sufficient water for domestic use, production, and business activities during the suspension period.

After the water supply is restored, hydraulic disturbances in the pipeline network may occur. As a result, water quality and water pressure in some areas may be temporarily unstable.
