In May 2025, the Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni – Dong Nai Technology University, in collaboration with the Dong Nai Tourism Promotion Center, successfully organized a series of the 2025 Tourism Professional Training and Development Courses (Phase 1) for tour guides, on-site interpreters, and individuals involved in tourism activities across Dong Nai Province.

The program was implemented across various localities with the aim of enhancing professional knowledge, strengthening practical skills, and improving overall competencies for the tourism workforce. Through these efforts, the initiative contributes to improving the quality of human resources and supports the sustainable development of local tourism.

Practical and Industry-Relevant Training Content

The training courses were designed with comprehensive and practical content, focusing on essential knowledge and skills required in tourism activities, including:

• an overview of the tourism industry and the roles of on-site interpreters and tour guides
• communication skills and knowledge of key tourism routes and destinations
•  
• presentation skills, tour management techniques, and handling real-life situations while serving visitors
• practical sessions on destination presentation to enhance real-world application

The program was supported by a team of experienced lecturers and industry experts in the field of tourism, providing participants with practical knowledge and helping enhance their professional skills and service capabilities.

Through this series of training courses, the initiative not only contributes to improving the quality of the local tourism workforce but also strengthens the connection between training institutions, management agencies, and the tourism community, towards the goal of developing Dong Nai’s tourism sector in a more professional and sustainable manner.
