Training Program “Career Orientation and Internship Skills in Enterprises” for students of Automotive Engineering Technology

The program was designed with practical content, closely aligned with the recruitment needs of enterprises and current trends in the automotive industry. This is not only an academic support activity but also an important step to help students effectively transition from the learning environment to a professional working environment.

The training program was designed with a structured and scientific content framework, combining practical experience sharing with specific skill guidance. It focuses on two key topics to help students gradually visualize the working environment in enterprises and fully prepare for their internship, including two main modules:

Module 1: Sharing Practical Experience in Enterprises
Students had the opportunity to listen directly to representatives from businesses sharing about real working environments, job requirements, and essential skills required for an automotive engineer. The content focuses on work processes, professional standards, and real-life situations in the automotive field, especially the strong development trend of electric vehicles.

Module 2: Internship Skills in Enterprises
Students are guided on how to prepare for their internship in detail, from communication skills and professional behavior to proactive attitude and adaptability in the workplace. In addition, important notes are also shared to help students make the most of learning and development opportunities during their internship period.

Participating in the program, from Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU), there were: Mr. Nguyễn Duy Nam – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Mr. Nguyễn Đình Thuật – Director of the Center for --Enterprise Cooperation adn Alumni, along with lecturers and students from the Faculty of Engineering.

One of the key highlights of the program was the interactive session with enterprise representatives, where students had the opportunity to gain real-world insights directly from professionals working in the industry. The program featured Mr. Đậu Đức Trung – Sales Director of Mien Nam Electric Car Co., Ltd., and Mr. Bùi Đỗ Trung Tín – Deputy Sales Director of Mien Nam Electric Car Co., Ltd.

Through career stories, practical experiences, and real workplace situations, the speakers provided a clear picture of the corporate environment in the automotive industry, especially the rapidly growing electric vehicle sector. Beyond sharing knowledge, they openly discussed recruitment requirements, internship evaluation criteria, and the skills that businesses truly look for in young talent.

In addition, the Q&A session was lively and engaging, allowing students to directly ask questions and clarify concerns related to internships, career orientation, and job opportunities after graduation. As a result, students not only enhanced their practical understanding but also became more confident and proactive in preparing for their future career paths.
